Midseim has worked for Hydro since 1998, holding several key positions including Company Secretary, Head of Staffs in Bauxite & Alumina in Brazil, Head of CSR and Legal Counsel.
In 2006 and 2007 she served as Resident Legal Advisor for Oil for development in the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Petroleum in East Timor. Before joining Hydro she also, worked as a lawyer with Vogt & Co from 1996 to 1998, and held the position of Executive Officer in the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy from 1994 to 1996.
