Slovakia

In Slovakia, Hydro is present with an aluminium extrusion plant and as part-owner in an aluminium production plant.

Hydro has an extrusion plant in Žiar nad Hronom, and building systems sales offices in Bratislava and Žiar nad Hronom. The extrusion plant has been delivering aluminium solutions to industrial customers for 50 years.

Hydro owns a majority interest in Slovalco, which is located in Žiar nad Hronom and produces primary aluminium on one prebake line.
